We are making a game using the program game maker…it is a free program where u can downlode from the internet. This is a software you create your own game and play.
Today we have started on game maker ( Space Invaders ) I havent done much today . I have made a room with a bear as a shooter and the clown as the enemy. These are the followind objects i have made today: bear, shooter clown, and bullet and also the sprites for the objects.
Now i made the clowns more advance. When ever the clowns gets closer to the bottom of the screen the quicker it become. The clown shud increase by 0.001 of the original speed. So with the clowns increasing it would make the player some challenge to win the first level.
I have also added in an exploding sprite to the interraction between the bullet n the clown So every time you shoot at the enemy (clown ) it will exploe.
I have now put in a really effecting background to make the game more interesting and attractice. I have aswell put in a background music. More over i have inserted another sound to the exploding sprite, so if the clown blows up it will make an explond noise..
I have also inserted in an intro screen where you have to press the space bar to start the game. I have also put in music and a brown background to the intro room.
In this picture i have made the bear shoot and move from left to right than the original speed. I have also put in a score board and a game over screen. It tells you how much you get during the entire game duration.
Now i have attached another room, continuing to the first level. Once you finish killing all the clowns in the first level it automatically changes to the secong level. In the second room I have put in the same clown and bear. But this time the clowns increases the speed even quiker as it progresses.
At the moment i have put in a ghost, it is also n enemy. Everytime you shoot the ghost it will lose 10 points from your score. It cannot be killed.

This GIF animation was made by using Game Maker. I got this picture from aq strip sheet and getting them to move I had to use frames. This image has roughly aroung 6 frames so it has a little detail. I hope u like this GIF animation of Pikachu ^^, …

…Picture Grid 2…
This picture was also created by using ‘Picasa’, alomost similiar to the first picture grid I have made but this task was more complexing and quite difficult then the other assignment that i have completed. Firstly I had to open the animal folder and select one of the animals. After I have chosen the image I wanted, I had to copy the picture to my folder, then giving it different effects and saving it as a copy. Once doing this nine time and giving it a dissimilar effect I then pressed the collage icon and giving it a picture grid effect. It was fun to do and this time atleast it was more challenging for me to complete.
…Noughts and Crosses…
I made this Noughts and crosses grid by using the ‘Gimp’ software. I had to follow each step by reading carefully off the sheet Mr Kerr gave us. First I had to make a noughts and crosses grid, making sure the width and height was 144 pixels, this is 2 inch x 2 inch for a resolution of 72 pixels per inch. Second I had to make the cross and circle. Later then, I made a series of images for an animation.When I had finish I had to make a new image , a straight line (the winners line) that is drawn on the grid when someone wins. Once i had done the following i could watch the game by right click> Filters> Animation> Animation Playback. This will alow me to watch the replay. After almost finishing I had to make SURE to save the final image as a GIF otherwise it will not work.
…Double Exposure…
This is a double exposer i made while using the software ‘Picasa’. I had to select two animals from the animal folder and collaging the images by pressing the collage icon at the bottom of the page. Once I have done that i made the image multi-exposer making the two images in one illustration making it very interesting to look at. This task was fun and appealing to achieve.
…Picture Grid 1…
This image was also created by using ‘Picasa’. But not selecting only two images i had to chose nine pictures. After picking the pictures I selected the collage icon again but this time I go for the ‘picture grid’ making the pictures grid like formation. This task was also straightforward and easy to complete.
…Pictuer Pile…
This is my design picture also using the ‘Picasa’ software. This task is quite similar to the first picture grid I made but this time not making the images picture grid i made the figures picture pile. Creating the photos to appear in a different style, more like phtos staking in a pile producing them to have a more effective result. This assignment relates to the other task and was also exceedingly simple.
